I have visited more counties in several states, but don't know for sure how many or which ones. This is usually due to not knowing the routes I took between those I know I've been in. When I report couties probably visited, it is where I am pretty sure of the routes taken. In April 2024 I drove to Illinois. While there I added eight more counties. And identified one county that I had been in but didn't realize the highway ran through it. In December 2023 I drove to Florida. I added several counties in Florida (8), the last counties in Florida, Alabama (11), Tennessee (10), and Illinois (7). I also added one county in Kentucky and Kansas, and the last county in Missouri. I now have three states that I've visited all the counties. In September and October 2023 I drove to California. I added several counties in California (18), Utah (4), and the last county in Colorado. Both the Utah and Colorado maps have additional counties colored in yellow from the previous version. Those are counties that I was able to determine that I had been in before, but didn't realize it as I developed the maps. In August and September 2023 I drove the annual Labor Day trip to Missouri. I added several counties in Kansas (27), Missouri (10), Arkansas (9), Illinois (6), and Nebraska (2). I now have only three counties left that I haven't visited in Kansas and one in Missouri. In January 2023 I drove to Florida. I added several counties in Texas (23), Florida (15), Georgia (19), and Nebraska (16). I also added counties in Tennessee (5) and Kentucky (3). On the state maps, viewed by clicking on the state name links, the counties in yellow I have visited. The counties in blue I visited on my most recent trip through the state. And the counties in green I visited on my previous trip to the state. On those maps a blue star indicates I have visited the capitol. And a blue "HP" indicates that I have visited the high point in the state. Both the star and HP show where in the state they are. Also, some states with large lakes will have the lakes filled with light blue. All the maps do not yet have the stars and "HP"s on them. But you can see which states I've been to the capitols and high points by clicking on the capitols and high points link on the menu on the left.
