Red or Green?

This time of year the sun comes up in the northern part of the sky. So, it shines on an area in my yard that doesn't normally get direct sun. This picture is the windows in my closet on the northwest corner of the house. The curtains are a matched set. They are the same color. But, the one on the left gets light reflected from the red brick house next door. The one on the right gets direct sunlight and light reflected from the leaves of the apple tree. Quite a difference.   June 10, 2013
